Are the THEO Offices still open?
Yes, our offices are still open, including our Leasing office. We are taking all necessary precautions and practicing social distancing for the safety of you and our team. We are available by phone or email as well. In keeping up with social distancing, we ask you to follow all guidelines if you decide to visit our premises. THEO also offers building tours virtually. For information on virtual tours, contact our leasing team at admin@theoottawa.com. 3D tour of our suites and common spaces is available on our website for an interactive view.

Are there any other health and safety protocols in place?
Housekeeping staff uses masks and gloves when entering suites for cleaning. According to established standards, infection control protocols have been implemented, including cleaning and disinfection procedures, scheduling, and proper usage of approved PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
What does it mean to self-isolate (quarantine)?
Mandatory self-isolation is for: 1) People who are suspected to have COVID-19, have COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 2) International students This protocol helps to isolate infected persons to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Where to get tested for COVID-19?
If it reassures you, you can get tested even if you don’t have any symptoms of Covid-19. If you are feeling symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have been notified that you were in contact with a positive COVID-19 person, here is where to get tested: https://news.ontario.ca/en/backgrounder/58491/ontario-expands-covid-19-testing-to-pharmacies-1 COVID-19 symptoms may vary from person to person and by different age groups. Some of the more commonly reported symptoms include: new or worsening cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, temperature equal to or over 38°C, feeling feverish, chills, fatigue or weakness, muscle or body aches, the recent loss of smell or taste, headache, gastrointestinal symptoms (abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting), feeling very unwell.
What if I test positive for COVID-19?
If you do test positive, please inform THEO management immediately and follow the mandatory government-implemented 14-day self-isolation (quarantine) protocol by staying in your bedroom/apartment, unless required for emergency purposes.
What else can I do to prevent COVID-19?
Here are some things you can do to maintain your health and others in your building. • Continue to social distance – distancing yourself from others by at least two metres/6 feet is the best way of limiting exposure and preventing the spread of the virus. • Avoid gathering in groups, including spaces where multiple residents gather, such as the lobby, elevators, penthouse, and study rooms. • Avoid having guests over – the fewer visitors that enter our building means lowering the risk of exposure for others.
Am I still able to sign a lease with THEO?
Yes, we can send leasing via online on our website and email.
